"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first..." 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV). The term 'falling away', or as it is called in some texts, 'apostasy' means; to depart from revealed truth, to lead away, seduce, mislead; to defect, to blind the eyes of the people by manipulating the truth; to turn one from the truth. For the last year one of the messages that the Holy Spirit laid on my heart again and again was "Pray like Elisha that their eyes be opened so that they may see..." There is a great blindedness in the land. Scales are thick upon the eyes of the people so that they can not see or even recognize the truth. Not far from our home in Ohio on a beautiful country road, many times while driving past, I have witnessed tour bus after tour bus park on the side of a little country lane that leads back into a farmers field where people come by hundreds and in droves to hear one woman speak who claims to see and hear from the virgin Mary. She claims that only she can hear her and relay what is being said to the people and that sometimes she hears from Jesus too. Photographs have appeared in our newspapers of groups of people walking through the field carry a statue of Mary and throwing and placing wreaths around the statue's neck. My heart grieves. What emptiness, what deception, what utter chaos what falseness and what lies. While that is one extreme case, there are many others beneath our very noses that we have allowed to filter into our churches and even into our homes. I was just told about a youth group whose Pastor and Youth Pastor have allowed the youth group to gather together and play such games as Pokemon and Dungeons and Dragon's and the like. Pagan bands in the midst of Christian ones? Do they not understand what they have welcomed into their midst? The witchcraft and satanism that follows and the demonic oppression that wraps itself around the heads of those who entertain such things? We have prayed for many a youth who was so troubled by demonic spirits that when they were told truth, which they readily accepted, they brought their demonic objects to us to burn once and for all and what they found was the delivering power of Jesus Christ and peace like they have never known. Truth in the midst of the darkness and deception. What of the leaders who have allowed such things? Recently someone confided in us that a Christian men's group was meeting at Hooter's now. My husband and I just watched a woman preach on TV while the audience were served alcohol. How much truth are they getting and is it me or is it laced with half truth and half deception. I'm not a prude and yet this all seems like an oxymoron to me and like a great deal of compromise. I watched today on a news clip President Obama clearly stating that he was going to lift the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy in the military now. People are cheering and are thankful for what they perceive is their freedom and yet they walking into more demonic bondage. My husband and I visited a local church recently and attached you will find the photo that I took in their vestibule. (See attached photo) This is a very historic church and one where a well known and respected and powerful forefather in the faith preached. Decide for yourself if you think this material is compromise and if it is the great falling away that is spoken about in Scripture. What is sad is that many of those who are deceiving others are the very ones who call themselves spiritual leaders. Get ready folks. We haven't seen anything yet. It is time to be a well informed and well educated reader and doer of the Word. I am only encouraged today when the Holy Spirit speaks to me that a mighty wind is blowing. A Holy wind that is visiting and searching the hearts of man and opening the eyes of the blinded ones and setting the captives free and delivering the Truth to those who have formerly not been able to see or hear. OPEN THE EYES OF THE PEOPLE OH GOD THAT THEY MAY SEE THAT WE ARE NOT ALONE! THAT THEY MAY SEE THE TRUTH! THAT THEY MAY SEE THAT YOU ARE REAL AND THAT THE ENEMY WHO SO BLINDED THEM WOULD BE PLACED WHERE HE BELONGS, BENEATH THEIR FEET. OPEN THE SPIRITUAL EYES AND EARS SO THAT THEY CAN SEE YOU WHO IS REAL AND POWERFUL AND TRUE AND EVERLASTING. MAY THEY AWAKEN AND ARISE! MY HEART GRIEVES OH GOD AND I TREVAIL ON BEHALF OF ALL OF US FOR YOUR GLORY AND TRUTH TO ARISE IN THESE DAYS! MAY WE ALL TURN FROM THE WICKEDNESS AND SERVE YOU WITH A FIRE AND PASSION AND A LOVE AND AN APPRECIATION FOR WHO IT IS THAT WE SERVE - YOU OH MIGHTY GOD! GOD HAVE MERCY ON US AND ON OUR LOVED ONES AND ON OUR CITIES AND ON OUR NATION. AWAKEN THE BLINDED AND ALERT OUR EARS TO WHAT IS DECEPTION. HOLY WIND.... BLOW.....
